The Hartley 12.2 features a large mast and mainsail, with an easy clip on jib. The 12.2 is stable, self-bailing, and has a roomy cockpit. This most versatile 12' dinghy can be sailed with 2 sails. The Hartley has a higher boom, making it safe and easy to duck the boom when learning to tack and jibe. It is strong, and is very easy to master. The Hartley is a well-balanced boat allowing single or double handed sailing, which makes it perfect for both experienced and novice sailors.

The US Sailing Center of Martin County is an amazing place. Thanks to the founders who acted on a vision more than 20 years ago and to the hundreds of friends who have donated their time, talents and resources over those years, the USSCMC is one of the very best small boat sailing centers in the nation today.

The Laser is a popular one-design class of small sailing dinghy. According to the Laser Class Rules the boat may be sailed by either one or two people, though it is rarely sailed by two.

The Laser is one of the most popular single-handed dinghies in the world. As of 2012, there are more than 200,000 boats worldwide. A commonly cited reason for its popularity is that it is robust, simple to rig and sail. The Laser also provides very competitive racing due to the very tight class association controls which eliminate differences in hull, sails and equipment.

The 420 Class Dinghy is a double-handed (2 crew) monohull, planing dinghy with a centerboard, Bermuda rig and center sheeting. The name describes the overall length of the boat in centimeters (the boat is exactly 4.2 metres long). The hull is fiberglass with internal buoyancy tanks. The Club 420 is equipped with a spinnaker and trapeze, making a very exciting boat for two. It has a large sail-area-to-weight ratio, and is designed to plane easily.
