WINTER/SPRING 2018 MIDDLE SCHOOL SAILING PROGRAM            

Developmental Dinghy Sailing

This program focuses on the skills and fundamentals of double handed sailing, in a recreational environment while preparing for the competitive format of High School Sailing.  Singlehanded O'Pen Bics will be incorporated into this Spring Session.  The O'Pen Bic sailing for this program requires you to bring your own boat.

Open to all students (grades 6-8)

Winter-Spring Program

Saturdays; 9 AM- 12 PM on the following dates:

January 13, 27; February 10, 24; March 10, 24; April 7, 14, 21, 28; May 5, 12 

Optional Regatta Day (January 21)

Program fee: 

$360/person (USSCMC Family Membership)

$410 /person (non-member)

*Please note:

  • Participation requirements are as follows: registration with the program, commitment to attend all sessions and a desire to prepare for High School Sailing.  Prior sailing experience is NOT required. 
  • 8th Grade students may register separately for High School Sailing in the Fall.  These programs are independent of each other. 
  • Students should bring lunch, refillable water bottles and protective footwear that can get wet.

Last boat out 4:30pm - All boats in 6:00pm
