Chowder Cook-Off is open to USSCMC staff, members and volunteers. Bragging rights are at stake. Join the fun and prepare your best "chowdah" to serve to our members and friends.
Prepare your chowder at home or on the Sailing Deck and be ready to serve by 11:30 am. Contestants are responsible for supplying their own utensils and products related to their chowder submission and maintenance of its proper temperature for serving. An electrical outlet will be provided for each entry and a crockpot is recommended. Spoons and cups for serving chowder to guests will be provided.
The Golden Spoon winner will be announced at 1:15pm. Autographs will be available at the award presentation.
Guests are asked to make a $10 donation at the door and will be asked to vote for their favorite chowder. Soft drinks, wine, and beer will be available.
