Details & PricingPrivate Sailing Lessons:
We offer private lessons and will schedule instruction on dates and times suitable for you. Lessons may be scheduled by appointment during regular hours of operations: Wednesday through Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm. Individual goals will determine the number of lessons. Typically, lessons are scheduled in 2 and 3-hour blocks of time.
As you prepare for your lesson, please be sure to bring the following with you to your lesson at the Sailing Center:
Sailing Lesson Fees:
2-hour minimum required
$45/hour for members
$65/hour for non-members
$25/hour for additional person in the same boat
$85/hour for PROFESSIONAL COACHING
Professional coaching for privates lessons is the hourly rate plus the cost of chartering a boat.
Group Sailing Lessons:
Hobie Wave 1 - Learn To Sail.
The Hobie Wave is an exciting and easy-to-sail catamaran for sailors of all sizes and skills. This recreational boat can be sailed solo or with a crew of four, and the Wave’s boomless sail provides power in all conditions. Thanks to the shape of the hulls, no daggerboards are needed. Launching from our Hobie Beach is ideal for beginners. The Hobie Wave 1 class will be limited to 8 sailors and taught by a US Sailing Certified Level 1 Sailing Instructor.

Flying Scot 1- Learn To Sail
The Flying Scot fleet is ideal for sailors at any skill level. The Scot’s simple sloop spinnaker rig makes it easy to sail in all breezes and racers can enjoy the performance competition from this remarkably stable centerboard planning hull. The boat has regional and national popularity and being a one design, it has rules governing the class keeping all boats, old and new, competitive.The ‘Scot’ is one of boats the Sailing Center chooses for teaching and introducing sailing to adults. As a solidly built ‘entry level’ boat, the FS has comfortable bench seating and its perfect for day sailing. Having a retractable centerboard, It can easily be launched by trailer, lifted in the water by hoist or sailed off a mooring. The Flying Scot class will be limited to 4 sailors and taught by a US Sailing Certified Level 1 Sailing Instructor.
