Summer Camp
Sun, fun and friends ... join us for our 2010 Summer Sailing Program!
USSCMC's goal is to challenge children to learn to sail and race in a safe and sportsman-like manner.
Classes are for sailors ages 7-17. Beginner and Intermediate classes are held from 9am - 4pm Monday through Friday.
Sailing camp begins on June 14 and ends on August 20, 2010
Over 4,700 area youth have attended USSCMC’s Summer Sailing Program over the past 17 years, many becoming life-long sailors. We have graduates who have become All-American Collegiate sailors and others who travel the globe to compete internationally. Most just learn to enjoy a challenging yet safe and super-fun activity that can be enjoyed for a lifetime.
Sailing is a sport for both the individual and team player. It builds physical strength and teaches mental skills useful throughout life. Our program teaches sailing, seamanship, boating safety, and sailboat racing skills to children between the ages of 7 and 17. Our instructional programs are designed to develop greater sailing ability, self confidence on the water, goal setting, achievement, and the understanding of boating safety, as well as interaction with others, in this unique waterfront environment.
Sailing is an exciting, educational and fun way to spend a summer vacation. Classes focus on different skill levels for different ages, and encourage participants to succeed in developing solid sailing skills.
Cost
Classes are $235 per week per student for the first week, $175 for the second week, and $150 per week for any additional weeks
Discounts available for USSCMC members and for families with two or more siblings enrolled.
Limited financial aid may be available on a needs basis.

2010 marks our 18th summer of sailing instruction serving over 4,700 area youth since our inception on the Jensen Beach Causeway in 1992
The US SAILING Center • Martin County also offers year round sailing opportunities for kids ages 7-17. These young sailors practice on Saturdays and Sundays during the school months as well as participate in our Junior Race Team. This group sails each weekend under the direction of a coach and travels to regattas throughout the state. Our summer program offers sailing instruction at all levels in weekly sessions.
